The challenge coin is one of the most sought after physical items in axe throwing. Mostly because it's one of the few physical rewards axe throwers get in the sport, but still - there is a deep-down satisfaction in getting one, and anyone who is chasing that dream of a perfect match can attest at how strong the desire is to earn your coin.
Regardless of whether it's IATF or WATL or some third, secret group, challenge coins are a right of passage for many throwers. And much like Gollum, they are precious to us. Collectively, I mean.
